Community Arts Perspective:  A Publication of the Community Arts Convening and Research Project

This journal focuses on articles written about Southern artists and their techniques and trend.  It focuses on recent exhibitions featured in the South, as well as a strong focus on Southern galleries.

The Southern Quarterly Home

American Art
Formerly known as the Smithsonian Studies in American Art since 1991, this peer-reviewed journal explores all aspects of American art from colonial times to contemporary.  Although it provides understanding of artists, and art objects, it also reviews the cultural factors that have shaped the United States.  Through interdisciplinary approaches, American Art explores America's rich and diverse artistic legacy, whether it be in new media, public art, film, popular culture and decorative arts and crafts.

Visual Arts Research
